Inspiring Message from KSSSA President
In a statement ahead of the championships, KSSSA President Kipchumba Maiyo underscored the transformative power of school sports.
“These games represent far more than competition,” Maiyo stated. “They are a platform for talent discovery, discipline, and resilience. They nurture values and give students a chance to achieve their dreams.”
He highlighted the inspiring journey of Aldrine Kibet, a former secondary school star who now plays for LaLiga side Celta Vigo, as proof of the life-changing opportunities that the KSSSA Games provide.
Maiyo urged schools to ensure timely registration of players on KEMIS and KSSSA portals, emphasizing that these systems are safeguards to ensure only genuine students participate.
