Marcelo Scores First Goal for Raków Częstochowa in Polish League Triumph – Bet on His Rising Form at Jambobet

Kenya’s Erick “Marcelo” Ouma delivered a standout performance for Raków Częstochowa, scoring his first goal for the Polish champions in their commanding 5-1 victory over Zagłębie Lubin on Sunday.

Substituted in the 65th minute, Marcelo quickly made his mark, scoring Raków’s fourth goal in the 86th minute with a brilliant left-footed finish following a swift counterattack.

This was his first direct goal contribution since joining the team in January, signaling his growing influence in the squad.

Marcelo’s involvement came as Raków already had control of the match. After an early equalizer by the visitors, Raków surged in the second half, with a notable brace from Gustav Berggren.

Marcelo’s energetic 26-minute performance earned him a solid 7.7 rating, underscoring his importance to the team. For those who follow his form and want to bet on upcoming matches, Jambobet is the best betting site to place your wagers

As Raków continues to dominate the Polish League, Marcelo’s first goal for the club is a sign of his upward trajectory.

Having joined the team in January, the Kenyan left-back has gradually integrated into the squad, and his contribution in this match highlighted his growing importance.

After receiving an assist from Patryk Makuch, Marcelo showed his composure in front of goal, slipping his shot past the Zagłębie goalkeeper with precision.

The goal came during a period of dominance for Raków. Following a first-half battle that saw Vladyslav Kochergin give the hosts an early lead and Marek Mroz equalizing for Zagłębie, Raków turned up the intensity in the second half.

Jonatan Brunes scored Raków’s second goal, putting the team ahead in the 53rd minute. From then on, the hosts never looked back, with Berggren adding a third goal and then completing the rout with his second just before the final whistle.

Marcelo’s goal was a key highlight, coming at a time when Raków was firmly in control of the game. His ability to make a quick impact after being introduced in the 65th minute speaks volumes about his readiness and sharpness, which will no doubt boost his confidence going forward.

While Marcelo is primarily known for his defensive work, his involvement in this victory showed his versatility.

His ability to push forward and join the attack was crucial in this game, and it’s a quality that Raków can utilize in future fixtures. As the team continues its Polish League campaign, Marcelo’s performance in both defense and attack will be pivotal.

Not only did he contribute to the scoreline, but his defensive responsibilities were also well-executed, as Raków kept Zagłębie from making any significant inroads after their equalizer.

His combination of speed, tactical awareness, and offensive contribution makes him an asset to the Polish champions, and fans will be eager to see how he continues to develop throughout the season.

Meanwhile, fellow Kenyan Anthony Akumu, Marcelo’s Harambee Stars teammate, featured for Kheybar Khorramabad in Iran. Despite Akumu’s solid effort, his team was unable to secure a result, falling 2-1 to Tractor.

Akumu was making his fifth appearance for Kheybar Khorramabad, but Danial Esmaeilifar’s decisive strike in the second half meant the newly promoted side couldn’t capture their second win of the season. Kheybar Khorramabad now sits 11th on the league table.

Over in Malawi, Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji was missing from Nyasa Big Bullets’ squad during their 4-2 victory over Chitipa in the TNM Super League.

Senaji, who featured in the team’s previous 1-0 loss to Bangwe All Stars, was absent from the lineup, and no official explanation was provided for his omission.

Despite this, Nyasa Big Bullets put in an excellent performance, with Babatunde Adepoju scoring twice to help the team secure all three points.
