AFC Leopards failed to build on their 2-1 win over Mara Sugar as they were held to a 0-0 draw by a determined Sofapaka at Dandora Stadium.
Despite creating chances, Fred Ambani’s side struggled to break down Sofapaka’s well-organized defense. The result sees Ingwe drop to fifth place with 34 points, making their upcoming Mashemeji Derby against Gor Mahia on March 2 even more crucial.
Sofapaka, on the other hand, move up to eighth place with 29 points, showing clear signs of improvement compared to their relegation battles last season.
Kakamega Homeboyz Cruise Past Murang’a SEAL
Kakamega Homeboyz delivered a dominant performance at Mumias Sports Complex, securing a 3-1 victory over Murang’a SEAL.
Moses Shummah opened the scoring in the 27th minute before doubling his tally in the 38th minute, putting the hosts in control. Lucas Maina pulled one back for SEAL just before halftime, but Oliver Majak sealed the win for Homeboyz in the 81st minute.

With this result, Homeboyz extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches, climbing to sixth place with 33 points. Murang’a SEAL, struggling for form, now sit in 13th place with 23 points, winless in their last seven matches.

In the second match of the Machakos doubleheader, Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks played to a 0-0 draw.
Sharks’ struggles continued as their winless streak stretched to 10 matches, with only one win in their last 18 league outings. The result leaves Ulinzi Stars in 10th place with 28 points, while Sharks remain 12th with 24 points.
