The NBA delivered another night of thrilling action, with Stephen Curry putting on a shooting masterclass to power the Golden State Warriors past the Brooklyn Nets, while Luka Doncic and LeBron James combined for 63 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers complete a stunning comeback win against the New York Knicks in overtime.
LeBron and Doncic Lead Lakers’ Late Rally Against Knicks
The Los Angeles Lakers continued their red-hot form, securing their eighth straight win with a dramatic 113-109 overtime victory over the New York Knicks at Crypto.com Arena. Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 32 points, while LeBron James added 31, proving instrumental in dragging their team back into the contest after the Knicks held a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.
The game looked to be slipping away from the Lakers as Jalen Brunson put on a spectacular offensive display for the Knicks, finishing with a game-high 39 points. However, the Knicks’ hopes were crushed when Brunson suffered an unfortunate injury in overtime, limping off the court after rolling his ankle in a collision with Austin Reaves.
Despite struggling offensively for much of the game, the Lakers found their rhythm in the fourth quarter, with James knocking down two crucial three-pointers and Gabe Vincent draining three from beyond the arc to spark the comeback. Vincent ended the night with 12 points, while rookie Dalton Knecht also stepped up with 11 points off the bench.

Doncic, exhausted but ecstatic after the game, praised the team’s resilience.
“Our physicality in the fourth quarter was next level,” Doncic said. “Once we got started, we played basketball. They’re a great team with great players, so this was a tough win. But we’ve got eight in a row now, and every game is a battle for us.”
With the win, the Lakers improved to a 40-21 record, solidifying their place in second in the Western Conference, though they remain 10.5 games behind the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.

Curry’s 40-Point Performance Powers Warriors Over Nets
Stephen Curry once again showed why he is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, scoring 40 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 121-119 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. The Warriors, who had trailed by 22 points in the first quarter, mounted a spectacular comeback to secure their third consecutive road win.
Curry’s performance included seven three-pointers on 13 attempts, with the highlight being a deep three from near half-court to close the first half, cutting Brooklyn’s lead to just five points.
The Warriors’ comeback began in the second quarter when they outscored the Nets 40-25 to claw back into the game. With momentum on their side, they controlled the second half, securing a vital win in their pursuit of a playoff spot.

Curry was well-supported by Jimmy Butler, who contributed 25 points, and Gary Payton II, who added 16 points off the bench. Cameron Johnson led the Nets with 26 points in a losing effort.
With this victory, the Warriors improved to 35-28, moving up to sixth place in the Western Conference as they chase a return to the postseason after missing out last year.
Celtics Dominate Short-Handed 76ers
The Boston Celtics continued their push for the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a commanding 123-105 victory over an injury-hit Philadelphia 76ers team.
Missing key players Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers never posed a real threat as the Celtics controlled the game from start to finish. Jayson Tatum led the charge with 35 points, while Payton Pritchard contributed 19 points off the bench in another solid outing.
The only downside for the Celtics was an injury scare for Derrick White, who lost a tooth after a collision with Kelly Oubre Jr. in the second quarter. White briefly left the game but returned in the second half wearing a mouthguard.
Boston improved to 45-18, closing in on the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers. The 76ers, meanwhile, continue to struggle without Embiid, slipping further down the standings.
